Greetings. My name is Dan Page. I was born and raised in Logan, Utah. At 19 years of age I ventured off to Argentina to serve a mission for my church. When I returned I attended Utah State University where I graduated with two bachelor’s degrees: Spanish and English. My wife, Lauralee, and I began our careers in the Idaho Falls School District. I taught ESL and Spanish while coaching tennis and X-Country at Idaho Falls and Skyline High Schools. During this time I earned a master’s degree in administration from Idaho State University. I have served as a school administrator now for 20 years in the West Ada and Bonneville School Districts. I have four super children: Natalie (married to a Norwegian), Aaron (married to a Russian), Andrew and Matthew. We speak five languages among us in our family—prayers over dinner in our home are always interesting! My greatest joy in life is, of course, my family. However, I also enjoy peak-bagging, adventure motorcycling and all sports. My career has been the perfect fit for me because of how much I enjoy working with young people. I hope to help Ucon students blossom in a garden of excellence at this great elementary school.
