Who are the Directors?
What do they do?
Directors are individuals within District 93 who are recommended to the District 93 Board of trustees by current Bonneville Education Foundation directors. They are volunteers whose responsibility is to ensure that entrusted funds from donors achieve the intended goal, while complying with state law and Federal IRS code. The directors also seek to maximize the impact of dollars donated. Directors seek "to enhance the learning experience of students and to provide support for faculty members and administrators..." and "promote worthwhile endeavors which will enhance the educational experience of students." (BEF Bylaws, Article I: Purpose)
The Executive Directors the lead the business affairs of the Bonneville Education Foundation and are elected by their fellow foundation directors to serve a three-year volunteer term.
The Bonneville Education Foundation meets monthly, September-June, on the first Wednesday of the month. They occasionally meet through electronic meetings to satisfy any needs of the district between monthly meetings, or during the summer.
